Our capabilities include:
Anything laminated - boards - any insulant to any rigid board, example thermal laminates, soffit liners, cold store panels etc
Anything laminated - quilts - such as dense polymeric to mineral wool (mufti-lag type of products)
Anything encapsulated or totally enclosed - ceiling pads, loft insulation
Anything faced or covered - insulation slabs or rolls, pipe. sections, decorative acoustic wall panels - all with any covering – for instance tissue, aluminium foil, or glass fabric
Anything cut to size & shape (vertical, horizontal, angular) - trapezoidal wedges, bevelled lags, lamella fire breaks (for EWI applications)
Anything cut or slotted - such as slotted phenolic boards to bend round curved surfaces - also routing and tongue- and-grooving
Anything sanded smooth – such as mineral wool for use in aesthetic acoustic products.
Fabrication and Conversion Service
We convert or alter standard bulk-produced production-line insulation and associated products to a format in tune with specific end user requirements.
This could be applying a facing, lamination, encapsulation, or cutting, shaping or sanding.
U-Spec works with all types of products - glass and rock mineral wool, foam plastics & polyethylene foam, ceramic fibres & many others.
